THE STORY OF OUR MEMORY GARDEN…

Every so often, one of our pupils will pass away. We wanted to create a place and a way for them to be remembered – not so much a memorial, but a little corner of our site where the families of those children and our staff could reflect.

With a bit of input from our students, our horticulturalist – Paul, and some other key members of staff  made a few drawings, had some ideas and gradually “FAW ever their garden” emerged. From a scrubby, unkempt corner, with the help of donations from Laing O’Rourke, B&Q,  hours of volunteering by Lloyds, and HOURS of work by Paul and his “helpers”, the garden was born.
